Ann Buehler

Ann holds a BFA in Dance and a BS and MSE in Education. She has produced numerous junior and senior age regional and national champions and professional performers. With almost 30 years of professional teaching experience, she is well-known as a clinician and adjudicator for her technical expertise. She has professional experience as a ballet company member of Ballet Arkansas, musical touring companies, theme parks and was a state talent winner with the Miss America program. "Miss Ann" teaches a variety of dance techniques including Vaganova (Russian) ballet technique. Her dances have received overall choreography honors at regional and national competitions. She has also been honored by Co Dance as Teacher of the Year three years running and was 2004 National Lyrical Teacher of the Year. Dance Teacher magazine featured her studio as one of the top 50 "Studios On The Move" in the nation for 2006-2007.  Miss Ann is a member of the professional organization Dance Educators of America, and also is a active member of the Association of Dance Conventions and Competitions.   Miss Ann was selected in 417 Magazine's "Most Beautiful t0p 15" in 2013.  Miss Ann also has served on various charitable organization committees including the Doula Foundation.  Springfield Newsleader named Ann's Performing Arts Centre "Best of 2016". 

Miss Ann has served as an adjudicator for numerous Competition Companies including Starpower National Talent, Revolution National Talent, Spotlight National Talent, Rainbow National Talent and Talent on Parade.  Miss Ann has coached various High School Pom teams including Kickapoo High School Golden Girls.  She has sent 39 previous students, to date, to college dance programs and has previous students performing in LA, New York, Branson, the Cruise Line Industry,  and in the Professional Cheerleading fields. 

Miss Ann's passion is teaching and her philosophy is to help raise strong humans in mind, body and spirit.  Her 28 years in the teaching profession has shown that she is driven, focused and dedicated to her art.

 

 

Tori turner

Tori graduated cum laude from Missouri State with a BS in Early Childhood Education. During her four years at MSU she was a Sugar Bear and captain her senior year. Throughout college she choreographed for her team and coached at a local high school. As a Sugar Bear she networked through many facets of our community, served as an ambassador for the school, and organized team workouts and events. She grew up in Springfield and trained with APAC. Her passion is fostering student growth. Her education in the development of young children along with her many years of dance experience support her role at our studi0.

Caitlin wittenburg

Caitlin is originally from Houston, Texas and has been dancing since age 5. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA in Dance and a minor in Secondary Education and Texas Teacher Certification. Caitlin has since been a Dance Teacher and Coach for high school programs and studios in Texas, Iowa and Kansas. She also in an instructor and adjudicator for Marching Auxiliaries Dance Company. Caitlin is very excited to be a part of the APAC family and spread her passion for dance with all students.

Josephine Solvie

Josephine Solvie has been dancing since she was 12 years old. Training in Russian ballet, classical jazz, broadway tap, hip-hop, clogging, ballroom, and pointe. Competed for 6 years as well as being a member of the Branson High School Sweethearts for 3 years. During the summer of 2016-2018, she studied under the Rockettes in New York City doing week long Summer Intensives. She was invited to learn The Radio City Rockettes’ style of jazz and tap. Seeking a secondary education starting in a local college in 2018 while assisting the Sweethearts dance team. In 2019 transferring to Missouri State University majoring in French, Secondary education and Dance BS. Currently a member of the Diamond Girls dance team for her University while studying for her degrees. She is excited to teach at Ann’s Performing Arts Center to share her love and passion for dance.
